Stuff about Us

If you're here, you must be REALLY bored. But since you're here, I'll spare the time to tell you about my friend and I.

Hi! My name is Can and my friend’s name is Ann. We are Les Miz freaks who attend a tiny middle school in the East Bay Area. I got my first Les Miz CD for Christmas 2003 (CSR Highlights), and bought the TAC about 6 weeks ago. Don’t laugh at the next line: I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE MUSICAL! (tear, tear) I missed the 3rd National US Touring Cast last year, and they’re only going to the East Coast this year. (Damn the stupid East Coast)

I am a 13-year-old guy with a high soprano voice (don’t ask).  I sing in the Piedmont Choirs, the greatest youth choir ever, and have gone on two tours (Italy/Slovenia 2003 and Mexico/Cuba 2002). Visit the website on my Links page, and if you’re in the area, join up!

My dream roles are Cosette ( I LOVE high notes, like the end of “A Heart Full of Love”) and Fantine. My teachers think I’m insane because I sing 24/7 in class. (Look at the Crazy Stuff page for details.) This is my first website, and it’s making me miserable. Don’t make a website if you can avoid it, especially if you have a slow computer.

My friend got totally hooked on Les Miz after seeing it last year. She has Broadway Highlights, the OLC, the TAC, the CSR, and the OFC. Her mom is a Mizzie too, though not as fanatical, I think. Her dream roles are Enjolras and Eponine. She’s nominally married to Michael Maguire and has had a child with him (again, don’t ask). She is a drama performer and has been in a few area plays and musicals. Ann has a very low female voice, and has been cast as Uncle Vladimir in her drama group’s musical, Dear Edwina.
