The innocence of a child is
More precious than gold~
But with some, it seems if
The truth be told~
The innocence has been
Taken away~
So early in life not to face
Another day~
With hate and guns, things
Get out of control~
You wonder where their
Innocence did go~
Some lifes are cut short
It's such a shame~
Just wonder, who is really
To blame~
Something, it seems need
To be done~
To protect each of these
Little ones~
Put God back in school
Where He belongs~
Leaving Him out is
Surely whats wrong~
For all their lifes we must
Behold~
The innocence of a child
Is more precious than Gold~
