Passion, the driving force of life,

Motivation of the soul,

Definition of love,

Reason for action.

Passion is a feeling of intensity,

A desire for devotion,

Incredible interest for a single thing,

Romeo's cry for his dear Juliet.

Passion is the spark of the spirit,

The heart of the storm,

The flame in the eyes of a lover,

The color splashed upon a painter's canvas.

Passion inspires.

It allows the undoable to be done,

The unthinkable to be carried through,

The unheard of to be made known.

Passion allows dreams to be made,

Wishes to come true,

Tears of joy to flow,

And smiles to shine on even the darkest day.

A TEAR'S JOURNEY

The drop falls from a thought

The trickle runs its course

The stream cries in pain

The river rushes it away

To settle in the peace and acceptance of the sea at the end.

I brushed by you for just a moment

Felt your breath on my ear

But the wind swept it away

Your taillights fade

They move away

Headlights beaming towards another day

A teardrop falls

My expression resembles a weeping willow

My heart has been stolen, it's worse than grand theft

BROKEN LOVE STORY

We met years ago

Unaware of what was to come

Another young boy, another young girl

No sight we hadn't seen before.

They say it takes but a day to fall in love

And I do believe it's true

I believe it 'cause I know it

And I know it 'cause of you.

You stole my heart at sunset

I didn't know what to do

Fate had brought you to my eyes

For this I thank God too.

Our love grew strong

I wished you could stay

But the miles between us led me astray.

Blinded by distance,

I made a mistake.

For now you are gone

Because of heartbreak.

I'm sorry, my love,

My love you'll always be

First love never dies,

And you'll always be a part of me.

I didn't realize

That it would end so quickly

That the next second you'd be gone

An empty gap in my heart

Turning into a gaping hole

As the reality of my loss hits

Like a head-on collision

With an 18-wheeled semi

A friendship gone down the drain
