Poem of my Love
From the day I first saw you on isle four,
I knew I had to search for my love no more.
From that day on I knew you were the one,
The battle of fighting off false loves had just been won.
My whole world stop spinning and I began to float on air,
The days there after not seeing you were too much to bear.
I knew I loved you and that you loved me,
And Every Friday was our night to just be.
You wrote me letters day in and day out,
Just to tell me how you felt.
Every letter I read with a smile,
I was so proud to love you for that while.
Then it all ended with a mistake on my part,
Now I am dead for I have lost my heart.
The one thing that meant the world to me,
I threw you away with out so much as a sorry.
Now every day I am scared to death,
Scared that I may take to long of a breath.
There used to be so much love between you and I,
Now I fear it is all just a lie.
Every time I see you I should feel it is a treat,
Instead my heart jumps and skips a beat.
I tremble at the thought of you telling me goodbye,
But how would I know if that were to even be a lie.
I know I am an ass and have been so cruel you,
All I can say is I am sorry till my face has turned blue.
All along I knew how precious you were,
Instead I took you for granted and started talking to her.
You say you still love me and all that it implies,
Then why do I still have tears coming from my eyes?
I've tired my so very hardest to show you I will be there,
But all I seem to see is that you no longer care.
You say you've heard it all before,
And that you no longer want to hear it anymore.
Though the pain we have caused each other is more than I can bear,
No matter what tomorrow brings I will always be there.
If you decided to call on him instead of I,
I will try my hardest not to break down and die.
There are days that I wish you would break him in half,
"Just not the way you say you would,"
Then you can no longer say he can always make you laugh.
I hope you are doing all this just to get under my skin,
And if so then please just stop cause you win, you win.
There are so many things I wish I could have said,
But as always they never seem to want to get out of my head.
However this I will say beyond my face turning blue,
I will always and forever continue to love you.
