Friend

A friend is someone you can call
Day or night, spring or fall
A friend is someone who is there
When you need someone to care

A friend is someone who will never fail
To be there in the storm or hail
A friend is there when you cry
Even there when you sigh

A friend is there in time of need
With a flower or a seed
A friend is someone who will listen
Someone who'll watch you shine and glisten

You may yell and you may fight
You may even share a fright
But always know one thing is true
I am glad to have a friend like you
