the Man Behind the Toad: Mortimer Toynbee

i've read every bio of Comic Book Toad on the web that there is, and all of them are pretty much copy-paste versions of the Marvel Bio and 2 or 3 others. i'm fed up w/ that. here's my own take on Toad's Bio.
Full Name: Mortimer Toynbee
Birthplace: somewhere in York, England
Hair: Auburn (yes i know- Todd's is dirty blond, Movie Toad's is green, and Ultimate X-men Toad's is black. i'm doing Comic/Canon/Classic Toad's bio.)
Eyes: Brown (again, i know- Yellow, Fluorescent Yellow, and Black.)
Height: 5'8''
Weight: 260 lbs. (all muscle! ;) )
First appearance: X-Men (Vol. 1) #4 (1964)
Base of Operations: Mobile
Affiliations: various incarnations of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, formerly the Misfits, leader of an army of sentient frogs (no joke lol)
Mutant Abilities: extremely strong leg muscles, capable of lifting 3 tons, superhuman strength (lifts 1 ton w/ arms); natural gymnast; can crawl on walls ("like a bargain-basement spiderman"); mutant metabolism allows him to secrete a nasty resin (slime) which irritates and paralyzes his victims; has long tongue which is nearly prehensile and which the Toad is very dexterous with, which also deposits strong, venomous phereomones directly into victim's bloodstream when Toad gives him/her a tongue-lashing, it makes the unwilling victim a willing slave to him. oh, and he can jump real high. ;)
Misc: i have heard he is slightly nearsighted, not sure if this is rumor; am trying to research it. also, is doomed never to have a normal voice in any cartoon.
Basic History: Mortimer Toynbee was left a foundling on an orphanage's doorstep by his parents, whom he cannot remember. He was cursed with a frightening, and quite ugly, visage. As we all know, children can be quite cruel (story of my life)- and poor young Morty was never allowed to forget his ugliness. He was tormented and isolated; and it affected him so deeply that it interfered with his educational development; and it seemed he had a learning disorder or was mentally retarded, though neither is true. His mind was so warped by his childhood trauma that he developed an insanely subservient personality, a huge inferiority complex, no self-worth, and inevitably (since the beratement and rejection lasted his entire life) a monumental backup of untapped sexual energy... which amounts to profound trouble with women. Hell, there wasn't even women, there was ONE woman- Wanda Maximoff. The Scarlet Witch. The Bossman's daughter. He was obsessed with her for years, though his love life was limited to stalking since Wanda didn't reciprocate his fond feelings. He even tried kidnapping her a few times. (Though since her marriage and pregnancy his interest seems to have faded.)
Needless to say he was easily picked up and recruited by Magneto. He is utterly devoted to anyone who is willing to give him the time of day. However, because of constant abuse, he's grown a spine and is not so blind as he once was. Since Magneto abandoned him to die (that's a hell of a story... one i'm not taking the time to tell), he's hated Maggie's Stinking Guts. that was sortof a moment of enlightenment for Morty, he wised up a bit and now usually works for money instead of the occasional table scrap and pat on the head. Though, he's still a sucker for the old 'false praise' routine. See, all he really wants in life is a little TLC. ie, 'someone needs a hug'. He is starved for some positive attention, and affection. If he can't get that, he'd like to get laid.
