Blind Alley

this is the latest episode of Evo. just got pix. they're from Matt's X-men Evolution Page. =) go to linx.

in short, this episode only had to do with 2 things...

1)Mystique being a SUPER B*TCH, taking her revenge on Scotty for lockin' her up (we all remember that) by posing as Alex (Havok, duh) on the phone, luring Scott out to Mexico, ambushing him and stranding him in the desert w/out his glasses. *grrrr!* that's playing DIRTY! (and now that she's back... it begs the question of HOW WILL SHE REACT TO THE BROTHERHOOD JOINING MAGNETO?)

2)Jean FINALLY COMING AROUND and putting her feelings for Scott up front. i mean, i don't like either of them all that much (okay, i don't like Jean at all), but the Scott+Jean thing is a STAPLE of the X-men Legend. it's all very sappy, and personally, i didn't recognize Jeannie at all... i mean... being WARM and CARING? *gasp!*

things to notice:

• Spyke running around the mansion... without his spikes retracted. apparently it's getting even harder for him to control them.
• Rogue never actually displayed the personality of Cain Marko (Juggernaut) after she took him down.
• we're seeing Multiple much more often. and hey... does he call himself 'multiple man' or 'multiple boy'? or is it just 'multiple'?
• Bobby Drake continues to be a complete dumkopf.
• Beast hasn't quoted Shakespeare since... well... the only time i remember was in the Angel episode. And where are his notorious one-liners? Anyone who can come up w/ an instance of Beast quoting Shakespeare or being otherwise witty will get a cookie. And a mention on the site. *like that's worth anything*
