My Kids Visiting Washington

I'm watching my kids walk beside The Wall as I stand next to the statue of three.
Yes, that's my kids guys ..they are here today for the first time.
They are taking that long walk. They are respectful and quiet as they look and as they talk.
Thanks guys , I am proud of them but never more than today as
they touch The Wall and walk along its way.
Yes guys , they've come to see what draws me here,
What from my past brings me back year after year.
Now together as a family we remember you guys, and the sacrifice you made.
And though the years may pass, you guys, your memory does not fade.
The emotions as I watch my kids guys are running high.
I think I'll sit by Linda (she's calling to me) until they pass by..
