K-9 HILL

 There was a graveyard on K-9 Hill long ago.
Where war dog heroes rest row upon row.
White crosses with their names written in black.
Many times I have dreamed of one day going back.
To see if that honored place was still left untouched by the years.
At times just thinking of that place has brought a few tears.
Those war dogs saved many a life during the many years of war and strife.
They defended lives that stayed at Cam Ranh Bay.
To see that place again would be a wonderful day.
