Fearing that,
Which we do not understand,
Is a common trait
In the institutions of Man.
Religion,
The faiths of every society on Earth,
Often times,
Becomes a symbol, on which we place a person's worth.
His Word,
I read, and try to understand,
How others
Interpret His commands.

People hate,
In the name of their Lord,
And then claim,
That it's based upon His Word.
But who,
Shall we say is wrong or right?
Who?
Catholic, Jew, or Mennonite?
Who gets to judge?
Baptist, Mormon, or Protestant?
I say,
Those who judge are ignorant!

Christ said,
"Judge not, that ya be not judged", (Mt7:1)
His right,
Which many "Christians" begrudge.
He taught
To "love thy neighbor, as thyself." (Mt22:39)
Kindnesses
Bringing spiritual wealth.
He said,
"Love one another, as I have loved you." (Joh15:13)
Give mercy,
And it shall be given to you. (Jas2:13)

Christ said,
"I am the way, the truth, and the life,
No man
Cometh unto the Father, but by me." (Joh14:6)
So religion
Doesn't really mean a thing,
Believe in Jesus,
And that faith will set you free.
In that faith,
Remember what Christ has taught,
"If a man love me, he will keep my words," (Joh14:23)
And judge others naught.
