Andy, his lovely wife, Kathleen, and I were lucky enough to meet one sunny afternoon in June 2002.
My mom and I had saved for two years to visit my brother, Darryl, and sister-in-law, Tara, in England. During our one day tour of London we meet up with Andy and Kathleen in a cool coffee shoppe just off Drury Lane in Piccadilly. So aptly name The Poetry Cafe feature shelf lined walls of books, posters and down stairs the infamous site of Andy's first public read. Note in my hands an autographed copy of Andy's poetry and draft of his awesome book, DeadPix. Unfortunately our meeting was far to short, and I look forward to enjoying an afternoon cup of coffee with them soon.
In April 2008 I traveled to San Fransico for my dear friend Sideon's 40th Birthday Bash. I was lucky enough to hookup with several writing friends.

From left to right the gathered are Steve, Cele, Sideon, JulieAnn, and T Wanker
