On an Empty Sea
Adrift life sends us
Lost and alone
Reaching out,
blindly seeking.
Washed by the storm,
tossed by waves,
on life's empty sea.
Fear and doubt,
Take over the mind,
binding the heart
and soul
in darkness.
Miss not,
the light
that leads the way
to the place within.
For this is where
the secret lies
Where all
true happiness begins.
