Love doesn't make the world go round; Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.

We've had the pictures back for a while, I have them posted several places, on my MSN Space Ringo and MySpace. Ringo is a little difficult, I think they require you to be a member to view pictures!

If you haven't noticed I changed the look of the website a little. I haven't gotten new banners yet though. I'll be getting ones that match up soon!

We're home from the honeymoon! We had a great time roaming around the west coast. I'd write all the wedding details here, but I don't remember much of it...it was such a blur!

This website (since we're now married) is going to go through a few major changes in the next month or two. It will become more of a website that shows photos and stuff of our wedding, and is a little more about US rather than the wedding itself. I'm expecting to change the whole look of the website...so be warned! Change is coming!!!

TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY!!!!! Wow, how fast did that come up! I guess everything is taken care of...if it's not, then I don't think it's going to be done! All the big things are taken care of, now it's just the decorating and little details (who needs details anyway?)

If you're in the bridal party and haven't checked yet, there is a schedule on the Bridal Party page. It tells when everything is happening for today and tomorrow.

ONE WEEK LEFT!!!! Everything pretty much is figured out, Ian's family is all either on their way or already here. Now we just all have to show up and pray that I don't trip on my dress while walking down the aisle!!!

Thank you all who have been praying for this wedding, thanks to everyone who helped out with planning or paying for the wedding, and thank you to all who have sent or given gifts. Ian and I appreciate all of you so much!

1 month to go!! Woohoo! I guess I should get my act together and finish up all the little things that need to be done. I'm not overly stressed about anything though. I think that is making mom even more stressed out!

At work I got Adobe Photoshop to help make a website for the youth group, and I used it a bit for making buttons and such for the website here. Hope you all like the new look!

If you haven't looked at the counter lately, we're down to 50 days! Since it's coming up so quickly if anyone has any questions or anything I need to add to the website please request it in the guest book. The school year is over, so I'll have more time to work on the website and other wedding plans!

I wanted to take some time and thank both my family and Ian's family for everything they've done for Ian and me while we've been planning this wedding. Without you all I would never be able to pull this together.

From taking care of the photography to the decorating, to the wedding cake and everything else that you have taken over for me, I have no way to show you how grateful we are. You are all wonderful and I'm proud to call you our family!

As I mentioned above the photographer has been reserved for the day of the wedding! Hooray! I also finished making the invitations for my side of the family. Those get sent out this week.

Thanks to all who have signed the guest book, I love reading your comments.

Much more has come along since my last update. Maybe I should list what is done/not done so far.

Completed:

  • My wedding dress, Ian's suit and all rings purchased
  • Church and reception place reserved for that day
  • Groomsmen's and Bridesmaid's attire picked out
  • Flower girl basket and dress purchased
  • Ring Bearer's pillow made
  • Definite plans for decorating Church and Reception Area (with my aunt's help)
  • Wedding Cake and Food planned

In Progress:

  • Photographer
  • Honeymoon plans
  • Boquets
  • Purchasing of finals supplies (candles, ribbon, flowers, etc.)
  • Most invitations made and sent out (some still have yet to be made)

So the plans are really coming along well! I have much more completed than I did 2 months ago, and I feel like if nothing else got finished between now and the wedding that it would still go smoothly. Now everything else are just the extras that will make it a special and memorable day!

I'm meeting with a photographer soon for a consultation to figure out how much that is going to cost, and I've started making some of the decorations for the wedding. So it really feels like more and more is getting done everyday!

I'm sure any of you who still come visit this site have noticed my new feature...the countdown! Now if you were wondering, "Just exactly how many seconds is it until the wedding starts?" you'll know! I know it's silly, but I saw one like it on another website and though I would put one on here.

Thanks to Ian for picking a third groomsman! And, thank you Uncle Steve for accepting to do it!

Less than 100 days to go (98 to be exact)! Just so you all know, I'm still working on the invitations (really I am!). Also, last week we put the announcement in the local paper, FINALLY! I'm sure you noticed it above. My grandma was the first to notice, but the editor took out that Ian's mom lives in Monmouth, Maine. There's a Monmouth, Oregon about 10 miles down the road from where this paper is published, they must have thought I made a mistake!

My flower girl is going to look so beautiful in her new pretty pink dress. I got to see pictures of her in it this week, and I'm very excited! I'm getting my bridesmaids dresses next week!

April 6, 2006

I just remembered, I should put somewhere on this website that the wedding is fairly casual. I don't expect people to dress up too much for the wedding, I just want it to be nice and comfortable. If you're just dying to buy a new dress for the wedding feel free, but formal wear will be a little out of place!

March 28, 2006

More progress in the wedding plans! I made the ring pillow, finished the guest book, and am currently waiting on the paper I ordered to arrive so that I can finish the wedding invitations!

I've found skirts for the bridesmaids, now I'm trying to figure out what to do for tops. I still have a little time left, so I'm not too worried about it. Just over 4 months left!! Yay!

This is my engagement ring! **Not life size**

The Wedding Plans are coming along very well! As of now we have quite a bit of the prep work done, and we're starting to look more at the details. I'm going to try to get our engagement announcement into the newspaper finally this coming week.

So Far this is what we have done:

  • Both my wedding dress and Ian's suit purchased
  • Church and reception place reserved for that day
  • Wording and Paper picked out for invitations
  • Groomsmen's attire picked out
  • Flower girl basket purchased
  • Definite plans for decorating Church and Reception Area (with my aunt's help)
  • Style chosen for wedding cake
  • My ring
So we're feeling like we're definitely coming along. There are still quite a few things we need to do that are feeling a little pressing at this time (4 months to go).

Things we still need to do:

  • Figure out bridesmaids dresses
  • Ian's ring
  • Finish Invitations
  • Honeymoon plans
  • Boquets
  • Find all the supplies for decorating

I absolutely loved the place where I got my dress, so I thought I would give them a little free advertising on my website! Suzanne's Bridal is a wonderful place to look for a wedding dress, and the owner Suzanne is a marvelous lady. Thanks to them for helping me find the dress of my dreams! Men's Warehouse did a wonderful job with Ian's suit as well.

Finally thanks to our Photographer, IDM Photography, for our wonderful wedding pictures. They did such a wonderful job and I'm very very pleased with how well everything turned out.
