Time

Time...
That priceless gift, we can give or withhold.
That priceless gift, the worth untold.
All the yesterdays, I would gladly give to you again,
Every game we ever played, I would let you win.
If only I could roll back the time, to that day,
The precious time, before you went away.
But...
I cannot roll time back, even for a day,
If I could, every sad person would have their way.
Their loved one would not be gone,
No one would be singing this song.
Sadness would be departed, never to enter our heart again,
The battle with grief, every person would win.
See...
It is now or never,
Realize this, you do not have to be so clever.
Value everyone while they are near,
Do not wait, until you have to shed that tear.
Because we cannot roll time back, even for a day,
Tell that loved one, what you have to say.
Time...
Time is now, to tell you I love you,
I can say it with many words, or with few.
Tomorrow may not come, as we had planned,
Let us enjoy this moment, as we walk hand in hand.
I treasure you and I want you to know,
Even if we are parted, I will never let you go.
Remember...
For all of time, my memories will play on, all the days we shared,
Memories of all the ways we cared.
No one will be able to take that away,
All I have to do, is close my eyes, and remember you, on any given day.
So as time plays on and on for me,
Memories of you I will always see.
If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day
Till Eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you
If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day like a treasure and then,
Again, I would spend them with you
But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go
Through time with
If I had a box just for wishes
And dreams that had never come true
The box would be empty
Except for the memory
Of how they were answered by you
But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go
Through time with
