Plea of Love

By Rhonda Cooley

February 16, 2002

Took you for granted, didn't I?

I really did not mean to make you cry.

I just could not see the emptiness in your heart,

During the times we were apart.

I would do anything to make it up to you,

Anything you ask me to.

Can you ever forgive me now?

Can you find a way somehow?

Remember the times we used to date?

You promised to be my life long mate.

We were so close and our love was true,

Please say I can make it up to you.

Don't let separation be our fate,

Please, don't say it is too late.

Let's attempt just one more mile,

Please assure me with your smile.

I know I took you for granted, I really did,

Your tears from me now, are not hid.

I want to make it up to you,

Anything, I will do.

Let's get that closeness back again,

Let me try your heart to win.

What do you say?

Can we try for just one more day?

You Were Always On My Mind

Lyrics

Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
And maybe I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have

If I made you feel second best
Girl I'm sorry I was blind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

And maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine

Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Tell me,
Tell me that your sweet love hasn't died
Give me, give me
One more chance to keep you satisfied
I'll keep you satisfied
