The Christmas Angel said, as she knocked up my heart's door,

"I want you to donate your organs, you'll not need them anymore."

"The place where you are going, takes less to sustain life,"

"For there will be no pain there, just an end to all strife."

At first I did not understand, what she said to me,

It took some time to sink in, time for me to see.

She had come to forewarn, about the trip I would make,

One which did not need, a physical body to take.

All at once I was sad, to think I had to leave,

To family and friends, I wanted to cleave.

Just the thought of leaving, caused my heart to break,

This was one trip, I did not want to take.

But then I realized, it was not for me to know,

Exactly when that time, would come for me to go.

The angel did not say, exactly when it would be,

The importance of organ donation, she wanted me to see.

So I got the information, and signed my donor card,

I explained it to my family, even though it was very hard.

They did not want to think, of their loved one leaving them.

They did not want to think, about my life light growing dim.

But then I began to explain, and to calm their every fear,

I made them see a part of me, could remain here.

When all was finally finished, the family understood,

That I needed to do this deed, the angel had called good.

I want to leave the gift of life, when my time comes to go,

I want to leave some parts of me, on earth down below.

My heart will come from, the love of God above,

The light in my eyes, will be His purest love.

I will not need kidneys, I cleared their every doubt,

For there will be no poison, in heaven to filter out.

When I become an angel, I will not need these things,

Earthly organs will be replaced, by golden angel wings.

Someone here on earth, may need my organs instead,

My family agreed, to let me do as I have said.

I will donate my organs, when I pass away,

I will need them no longer, on that golden day.

If you cannot give the gift of life, at least give a monetary donation.

To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven

A time to build up,a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together

To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven

A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing

To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it's not too late
