Butterfly Kisses

She'll change her name today,

She'll make a promise and I'll give her away.

Standing in the bride room just staring at her,

She asked me what I'm thinking and I said, "I'm not sure,

I just feel like I'm losing my baby girl."

Then she leaned over and gave me...

Butterfly kisses.

Stand and Admire in Holy Wonder

Daughter is grown up and moving away,
Mom and Dad celebrate her happy day.
She is not really leaving us; as it seems,
She is simply moving on, to fulfill "our" dreams.

This is the beginning of a whole new life,
Man shall leave father and mother, cleave to his wife.
For this reason, we welcome this new relation,
Soon the family will be growing into a new generation.

More plates at the family gatherings to set,
Joyous times we will never forget.
Enjoying the blessings and overcoming the trials,
Encouraged by family members all the while.

Working God's purpose for man and wife,
As Ashley begins her new life.
What God hath joined, do not try to put asunder,
Stand and admire in holy wonder.
