It was on a bright and starry night,
In a town called Bethlehem.
A babe was born in a stable there,
A place that housed the lambs.
He was a special little child.
The world did not realize,
Just how this babe would change the world,
And how much love was in His eyes.
The angels rejoiced that night at His birth,
In the lowly stable of hay.
A king left His Royal Throne,
And came down to earth on that day.
Oh what a sacrifice He made,
To leave that wonderful place,
To come to earth to live as man.
And suffer such disgrace.
But oh how blessed were we,
To recieve such a spiritual lift.
Sent down to earth wrapped in swaddling clothes.
Oh what a precious gift.
May we rejoice as the angels rejoiced,
And be mindful this Chritmas season.
That God sent His son to earth to die,
HE LOVES YOU!... Could this be the reason?
