Poetic Dreams

Sensitive ones, though they may be,
a poet lives, forever free.

When a poet dreams, on star-lit nights,
of faraway places, their souls take flight.

While whispering breezes, stir the touch,
they write the words, we love so much.

Without the poets, to speak their minds,
words are just words, without the lines.

Poetic dreams, are of the very best.
So let your hearts soar, and follow the rest.

For time ages quickly, if you've never seen,
the wonderful world, of a poets dreams.

This poem was written by Carol M. Broussard. It is one of my favorites, because it tells the inner meaning of my feelings as a poet and arthur. There is no better way to open my home to visitors, except with my favorite poetry.
