Mother Out of love I was conceived upon my birth your pain preceived yet your heart it burst with bliss when gazing upon this precious gift Smiles which played across your lips when touching my little finger tips sparks that lit your eyes so bright upon hearing my voice laugh with delight Watching closely guarding me shielding my life from misery nurturing caring loving you teaching life's lessons as good mothers do Encouraging guiding me as I grew sitting with me when I was blue holding my hand coaxing me through all the rough times became but few Throughout my childhood you stood steadfast an inspiration that will always last always forever always true I shall forever be grateful to you (and Mom you did a great job  raising me!!) © danders
