Thanks for stopping by here to sample my work. This website is a work in progress and, if you'v esisited here before, you'll note that the old stuff has been removed. All that stuff came from a different, more poignant part of my life, which there's no reason to revisit in the poetry that I used to have posted here. So .. of course, it's gone.
And so ... I live near Pittsburgh and I'm an amateur writer of poetry and short stories. My poetry just comes, as it does with many people, from abstracts of real thoughts that I have about things I've experienced: life, love, grief, happiness and the like. To me, there's nothing special about it. I believe there are many people with a hidden gift like this that they just don't know about. As long as you're here, my suggestion to you is that you take a little down time from browsing the internet (I ought to practice what I preach!). Pick up a good book and read it. Learn some new words, think some new and clear thoughts. My final wish for you, dear browser, is that you find peace and know peace, with yourself and with your Creator. Regards, -Brian G.
