March 28th, 2013...  Amazon has done some major updating to the FIRE.  Check yours to make sure you have the latest update.  The KINDLE TOUCH, also, has an update.  If you don't have the Firmware Version 5.3.2.1, go to the following help page at Amazon.  http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/?ie=UTF8&tag=kwab-20&nodeId=200790650 

March 14th, 2013...  I am not finished yet with the book that I am reading; however, if you are looking for a good mystery book, check out HOUSE RULES by Jodi Picoult.  It is super enjoyable so far and giving me a lot of insight into Asperger's Syndrome.  I am sorry to say that it is not free or Prime.  I checked it out from my library.  It is the first book that I am reading by Ms. Picoult, but not the last if this one finishes up as good as it started.  

March 3rd, 2013...  I have been using SEND TO KINDLE for a few months now.  It is a free software that can be downloaded from Amazon.  Here is what Amazon says about it.  "Send to Kindle for PC is a free application that lets you easily send your personal documents to your Kindle...from your personal computer.  Using Send to Kindle for PC, you can also store your personal documents in your Kindle Library and download them conveniently to your Kindle device...when connected wirelessly."

February 23rd, 2013...  There are many settings on the FIRE that you have probably already found.  Here is one that I just discovered.  YOU might want to check to see if the settings are right for you.  Under MORE go to SETTINGS and check out what is set up under KEYBOARD.

February 19th, 2013... Let's talk about APPS for the FIRE.  Only APPS from the Amazon Store will load on your FIRE unless you do some rooting, side-loading, or hacking.  If you do any 'playing' with your FIRE, you will instantly void your warranty with Amazon.

SCREENSHOT (February 13th, 2013)
Do you need to take a screenshot of your Kindle FireHD?  I did.  I was having a problem with an app (FREE ONLINE DICTIONARY) After searching the internet, I found this and it is easy. 

Press the Volume Down button and the Power switch at the same time.

The screen will momentarily flash, and an image of the screen will be sent to the Pictures/Screenshots folder on your Kindle.
