No Lies

little secrets day by day
nothing that you want to say
to tell the truth may bring dismay
for little lies that come my way
from lips that whisper different ways
but time will tell your secrets loud
and fill the air with a big dark cloud
and small you'll feel
when you reveal

Time

The time has come to say at last
keep moving forward forget the past
for times have changed from centuries old
all is written , all is told
but for a moment if time stood still
and my only wish would be fulfilled
I'd have you there, by my side
my bleeding heart that aches inside
would bleed no more the pain is gone
the one I've search for , the journey long
the mountains climbed the bridges crossed
on the path, I have been lost
but your guiding light still shines on
and lights the way, it won't be long
till I'm by your side with open arms
I can feel the embrace of your loving charm
our hearts now sing in harmony
no darkness shall descend on me
for in your arms I shall ever be.

The Journey

I've been searching for a love I knew long ago
one that’s as fresh as the new fallen snow
it comes with out warning from a place that’s not there
with out sight nor sound nor sent in the air
it fills your body, your hart and your mind
no ones immune , not even the blind
you may search for a lifetime, look every where
but try as you might, it may not be there
when out from the blue, with out any sign
it will come rushing in when it knows that its time
and the cold and loneliness it will soon wash away
when some one rescues your soul from dismay
and the flowers all bloom as the sun does shine down
and picks you up from that whole in the ground
where together you flourish, and bloom with delight
because once your together you know that is right
and the passion you had lost, so long ago
is once again fresh, like the new fallen snow

Fishing
~~~~~~~~
I stroll along the river bank
with fiber rod and batted shank
the rushing water seldom calm
it bubbles and boils the rapids long
until a pool a head appears
drop my line good fishing here
I cast the bait into the brook
I see one there will it take the hook
my bait was good the cast just right
and when you choose to take a bite
I'll set the hook and start the fight
who will win, no one knows
I've done my job, and so it goes
to battle with us, is wearing thin
I know that soon I'll have you in
and when I do, I'll gaze upon
the beauty nature cared to spawn
the lovely eyes, and colour deep
the life you have is your to keep
but share with me your wondrous years
and I'll dry away those bitter tears
for although I won the bitter fight
I'll do for you what I know is right
for the life you have is yours to keep
and I'll let you swim the river deep
but if you choose to come with me
I'll give my love to you for free

The Rose

I give to you
this rose today
and from my heart
I want to say
Thank you for
your precious smile
your loving touch
and silky style
your warm embrace
your tender heart
your forgiving grace
although some times
it is a mess
our bond of love
we're truly blessed
and in the end
we can only say
all the wrongs to you I mend
so on this day
is a special time
just a way
to say your mine
and nothing can ever
take your place
there’s only you
in my sacred space
and though the rose
may wilt and die
your the one
that caught my eye
and in my heat forever be

The Trip

To leave behind a saddened face
and venture to a foreign place
I shant be long
though the time drags on
the distance is but a call away
Although the journey long shall seem
our tender hearts will always gleam
our love is strong
and our faith holds long
and distance is but a call away
So think of me and I of you
when we gaze upon the sky so blue
I close my eyes
and thing of you
still distance is but a call away
the night may seem so far away
but soon there be another day
and time fly’s by
as it always has
no distance is to far away
renew our hearts with loves sweet song
we made it through the journey long
and in my arms
