I had what I thought was a best friend,
but I guess she wasn't,
so our friendship had ta end.
At times, we shared da same ol' tears,
but now I feel like it was a waste of years.
All da shit we've been thru means much more ta me,
but now she got this otha friend,
and she seems blind ta see.
All da things I did,
like tryin'a make things work,
didn't seem ta matter,
and now I've blown out da tourch.
I've known diz gurl sense 1st grade
we used ta hang out and chill,
and back den we laughed and played.
But now our friendship dat we once had
is fadin faster by dese stupid lil thangz.
I'd take a bullet fa diz gurl,
I'd even give up da world,
I just wish she could had said da same,
but now we burnin out in dese flames.
I know at first its gonna be hard
knowin dat she ain't gonna be dar
but all i wanted was fa someone who would care.
We used ta be kool
but I feel like I'm bein played fa a fool
I've found out dat best friends disappear,
even when its been longer den a year.
