WRINKLING HER CHEEKS
I saw her there,
standing in the wind,
wrinkling her cheeks
at the sun in her eyes,
and wishing
that she were somewhere else,

Written based on a girl I saw while standing on a platform for the El, switching from the brown line to the red line on the way back from somewhere - but thinking of Katie. I think her cheeks reminded me of Katie. The "wrinkling her cheeks at..." is my favorite line. And "wishing that... with me." I might change the title later, that was really sort of a temp title because I couldn't give it a better one so used that.
