"I THOUGHT," SHE SAID, "THAT I WAS YOUR WIFE."

"I thought," she said, "that I was your wife.
"That you would love me, for the rest of your life.
That you'd never be rude, and always be gentle,
and that you'd be considerate, and take care of me when I'm sick.
It's true that we had met only a few times,
but your charm had left me with my head in the clouds.
But now I can see that that's not what it was.
That all you had wanted, was a few rendezvous.

- Rendezvous is plural so the "s" is pronounced.
- Head in the clouds line was added into a spot that I was trying to fill, but messes up next lie. Maybe next line should be "that's not how it was" to compensate.
- Overall, not perfect. Originally was A|B|A|B but I changed it to AB|AB| to improve the meter which was too short if each line was broken in two.
