PASSIONS, BLOOD

As I soar the Clouds fly by.
Bleeding dying babies fall from the heavens.
Still, I press on.
Animals die, trees burn, and flowers wilt in my wake.
I shall not stop.

Not until I stand before you once more.

You say that the passion that burns in my soul scares you.
You say that you're not sure if it's something good for this world.
You say that perhaps it does not belong in this world.

But you know as well as I do,
that when we stand before each other, face to face...
that you like the lightning between my eyes and yours.

And even if it scares you that I'd murder for you and toss away lives for you,
there's still something about it that you like.
And at the end of the day when all the bodies have fallen,
and only my dark eyes remain beyond the carnage,
you will still want to kiss me.
Perhaps even more than before.
