THE SILENCE OF LATE NIGHT

The silence of late night
rings in my ears
as my consciousness drifts away
to a faraway place, with you -
to a morning where I
woke up with you
on top of a mountain
with dew on the grass around us.

Good thing I can just roll over
and put my arm around you
and spend the rest of my life with you.

The poem is not intended to be a first line title poem but I have not come up with a title for it yet.
