I KNOW NOT WHEN, NOR HOW, NOR WHY

I know not when, nor how,
nor why I fell in love with you,
only that I did.
Was it because I was ready for you?
Was it because you are beautiful?
Was it because you are so tender
that your heart beats like red rose petals
acting as the drums for a honeybee's love?
Was it when you smiled
and the sun rose?
Or was it when you wrapped your arms
around me and pressed yourself against my neck?
Or was it when you told me you loved me?
No, it must have been before that,
Because we both knew that we loved each other
before we told each other.

The first two lines have been in my head for years.
In fact, I thought they were from a poem by Shakespeare or somebody similar, but I have not been able to find any poem like that when searching online today.
The ending is different from what I had intended, but I am satisfied enough with the poem since there are some parts in the middle that I like enough.
It's also about time I finally used those lines, if they really are my own. Edit: they are a variation of a line from Pablo Neruda's Sonnet 17. I also used something like them in my poem called "I know not", where I had knowingly modeled in on Neruda's Sonnet 17 line.
