I ASK FOR LITTLE THINGS

I ask for little things,
like icing on candies,
and lemonade with strawberries.

Little things
that are not in the books
and don't follow the conventions.

All I ask for, is little things.
And how it breaks my heart
when you won't give me
even little things.
