FIRST KISS

Tonight was my first kiss

for a few moments it was bliss

but then the dream faded away,

no longer was it day

once again it was night,

the dark kind that gives you fright

I realized that I was lonely

because I wasn't with my one and only

The walls began to collapse in

going back to how it's always been

and no matter how far I run

only more lonely will I become

There will never come a day

when I can finally say

"I feel happy, I feel good

I am with someone I love"

That day will never come for me

my love, my feelings, will never be set free.
