BLUE SKIES

Blue skies and darkened clouds rent their way across the sky,
the bulbous tumors don't change the fact that
in the midst of the menagerie of scuffling
there lays a pair of starry eyes
gazing at the heavens and drawing a path
to a better tomorrow.

If I work so hard to the point of my own oblivion,
it's only so that I can change the world.
