My brother Todd was born on April 28,1977. He is the middle
child of 5 children. There are two older siblings, Willie and Jason. And there
are two younger siblings, Myself (Nikki) and Ray. I don't think Todd liked being
the middle child because it made him feel left out. I can still remember him
complaining about being the middle child. Todd was a wonderful little boy. One
of my favorite memories of him as a child is him pretending to be Popeye. He
would actually eat grass and pretend like he was eating Popeye's spinach. Those
were the days!
Todd loved children. He never had the chance to be a daddy
because the only chance he ever had at fatherhood was taken away from him due to
his girlfriend having an abortion. Although he was very young I know in my heart
that Todd would have been a wonderful father. I will never get to see this
happen though.
On August 2, 1994 when Todd was only 17 years old he committed
suicide. Todd will be 17 forever. He is forever my brother, forever my angel.
