Voices...
They confuse me. They tease me.
They stay in my head, undaunted by my strength...
Who are you? Thy spirit asks,
Spinning... spinning... there they go,
Whispering of lies and of sorrow,
of how I shall never survive to see the daylight.
They tell me things,
simple things,
Things that my mind wants want to hear not.
Things that put my spirit down
to the abyss of eternal darkness and despair...
I shall live. I shall see the fruits of my efforts.
I shall live to hear my voice
as is stands out fron the crowd,
No matter how short a time I may witness it.
And the voices?
...they shall, though slowly, fade...
