Hello and Welcome
Yep, I am a third Irish, my grandfather on my Dad's
side came out to New Zealand in the late 1800s and I
am also Irish on my Mother's side.
Even back in the 1800s there was the Catholic and
Protestant fighting as my grandfather had to leave
his country or face being shot
I love to hear the sound of the
Irish accent but I did not hear many Irish people in
the area of New Zealand I lived.
Their lilting accents is such music to my ears.
I have had quite a fascination of Ireland.
Perhaps I will get a visit to the country one day!
