“Reflection of Love”

True love lies in the ocean
As it stares upon the sky.
With nothing else to look at,
It sees it’s many eyes.

The eyes that shine and sparkle,
Which bring peace and grace to Earth,
Entrance the ocean caps
And put at ease it’s deepened floors.

Such love can be found nowhere
But where these two expanses meet.
Their love for one another
Reflects in the eyes of the beholder.

Life is a journey,
Be it what it may.
It's there for us to make it,
And shape its form each day.
The routine is only there,
To show us where to start.
We must make it happen,
Relying on our heart.

Life is an adventure,
A trip that comes along.
The paths are placed before us;
We're choosing what is wrong.
Guided by true friends,
We walk along the way.
They are there to help,
And guide us when we stray.

Life is not immortal.
It's born and then it dies.
But we're still here to make it,
Ev'n when we know the times.
Everyone will fall,
Among the dirt and dust.
Let's live it while we can,
We can, and we must.

Love is the sea in disguise.
It pounds away at the land.
Caring none for what it does,
And leaving none behind.
It engulfs its prey,
And covers one's hope.
Love showers the eyes,
And then falls with the tide.
It drowns the smiles,
And then leaves the sad.
While its beauty shines with the sun,
It’s deadly and harsh below.
Don’t go too deep,
For the sake of your own.

The Ride of life is but a short meander
From the time that we arrive.
A quick stop on by this world
To share our gifts from above.

The Ride is abrupt and soon to pass,
But it is used to teach us
It gives us a time of grace.
Received from God, His love.

The Ride may not seem the best
With evil and sin all around,
But we will all learn something
And it is for the best.

What does this world hold for me?
My friends seem not to know
Now that they’ve left me alone.
They’ve decided to let me be.

Why does this world hate me?
It turns its back and laughs.
Secrets are told,
And now I’m alone.
What can I do to save me?

Alone I will be,
But I’ll sit and not stand.
Depression glides over my head.
There’s nothing I can do.

My life has given me grief.
My friends and turned to thieve
My hopes.
