On the barren wasteland known as the "You Will Die Here" flats, there was a small nomadic horde of barbarians knows as the "We Are Still Alive" Horde. Enter Sam, barbarian philosopher, scholar, and model... needless to say while still a fierce warrior, Sam never gained the respect of the tribe, and was totally shunned by all except his mighty father "Dumb Ox". Dumb Ox charged Sam with a quest to find the most holy of cities... "Holy City" where it was said infinite riches abounded. Sam set off at once, with nothing except his "Sword of Wry Comments +2" and his gorgeous blond hair...
