Tammy in 1971
Tammy
Tammy Lynn, my oldest daughter of three,
You always try to help people out,
In the past you would drive me crazy,
At times we'd have a test of wills,
Now you`re going away,
Make sure you write quite often,
Mom
Footnote...I wrote this for Tammy on August 1989. She didn`t
Tammy in 1989, when I wrote the poem for her
All three of you girls mean the world to me.
You have compassion, optimism and Love,
Although I'd like to take the credit, most goes to him above.
And that`s what life should be about.
On the whole, you`re cheerful and kind,
You'd help a friend who`s in a bind.
You have to admit you could be very lazy.
There were times when we would go at it tooth and nail,
You would scream, pout, sulk and wail.
I'd ask you to do somehing, you'd say no.
Sometimes I'd wonder, are we mother and daughter,
Or is it more like friend or foe ?
And I don`t know what to do.
I know it`s only 4 years,
But I sure will miss you.
Please make sure that you do.
Until you come home again,
Remember that your mother Loves You.
come home, she ended up getting married.. and now I have
to settle for vists. But that`s ok. Below she has her own
little one, Anna-Marie.
