Chrissy

Christine Amy, my youngest daughter of three,
You are the baby of our family,
Like your sisters, you mean everything to me,
And that`s the way it should be.

You make me mad, you make me angry,
Sometimes you`re hard to find.
Other times you`re completely different,
So thoughtful, sweet, helpful, and kind.

One minute you can be throwing a temper tantrum,
Then next minute you`re quiet as a mouse.
First you`re throwing your stuff all over the place,
Then, just as suddenly, you`re cleaning the house.

There`s never a dull moment,
Whenever you`re around.
But sometimes I feel like,
I'm pounding my head against the ground.

We all stick together and help,
When there`s an emergency.
We really do love each other,
And that`s the way families should be.

Yes, you are the youngest,
I love you and you are my baby.
And just like your sisters,
You have your own personality.

Mom

Footnote:- I wrote this for Chrissy August 1989, when
she was 12. She is 27 now and has found Mr. Right,
and they are engaged to be married.
