A message from the owner...

Welcome to our website! Our kennel, located in eastern Pennsylvania is a labor of love that our whole family participates in. My husband works full time in our family business, but helps when he can. My children however are very involved with the day to day care of the dogs and puppies, as well as helping to play with them to keep them well socialized. Breeding dogs at the Burkholder home is a family affair.

We have been raising dogs for almost 12 years now and we are very proud of our breeding program. We have mostly small breeds and even do some of the new hybrids: crossing purebred with a different purebred, such as Yorkipoos and Maltipoos. In the larger vein we also have a small Bull Mastiff program starting. Our goal with any of our puppies is that they are genetically healthy, temperamentally sound, and that they go to only the best homes where they will be a treasured part of their new family.

Our new kennel is state of the art, but many times a newborn litter is kept right in our home so they can be under my watch 24-7. All puppies spend time in the house with the family to get them ready for their NEW family.
