WINTER WHAM #2

As you probably have noticed, I disappeared again. Right after I said I was back I left once again. Like most people, I have a real life, and that real life called me away. Basically my winter vacation wasn't as full of free time as I thought it was going to be. After the break and after some necessary academic settling in, I finally can start updating again. However, for now, I am not going to have time to do a weekly WMW show. I am really sorry for not being able to do it, but I don't have much of a choice. However, I still just barely have enough time and energy to start writing again. The solution to writing monster wrestling matches and yet not do the format myself is to write for someplace else. http://www.geocities.com/godzillauniverse/ ). MWF is essentially a monster wrestling organization quite similar to WMW (parts of it where literally based on WMW). It is currently the number monster wrestling website, and so it seems quite reasonable for me to go there. I already have been an "announcer" for some time, but now I am an official cowriter. I will be writing for that site until further notice, possibly in late May. Despite me "working" for another site, I will still do the seasonal events! So, here's a rundown of the next one, Winter Wham, the first WMW show in a long, long time.
There is a trophy given away at every Winter Wham. It is the "Monster of Monsters" trophy, the second-most prestige award a monster can receive here (the first is the "King of the Monsters" trophy, never given away yet). The 2001 holder is Gojira, and at the event we will give away the 2002 edition! The holder will be chosen through a major wrestling match, the awe-inspiring 20 Monster Battle Royal! The setting is the Moon, under a force bubble containing air for most monsters service. However, they won't survive long, because although 20 monsters go in, only one is left alive! The winner will be chosen in a match, but in reality the winner is decided through a poll, as usual. The poll to vote on is below. It is set up in two parts, with all 20 pre-determined monsters represented. As you can see, Gojira is not on the list because he already won once. Ironically, there is not one, not two, but three "GINOs" represented. The reasons for most of the monsters being on the list will be explained in the event. Basically, look at the monsters available, think of your top five or so choices for the winner, check the ones in the first box, press vote, come back, check the ones in the second box, and press the vote button for that one. Complicated as it can be, this is the best one available at the time being. In reality, you don't have to pick 5 out of the 20, you could pick 1, or 2, or 17, or even all 20! Basically, just pick what you think are the best ones. But please do not over vote! Once a week is acceptable until the deadline, which is the day before Winter Wham. The Winter Wham event will take place on Sunday, January 27, 2002. So, if you want to, vote, read the show, and enjoy.
