PARIS
Mood:  happy
Now Playing: Trip to Paris
Topic: LIFE OF ME
Spring Break's Trip to PAris was very fun!
i went with max williams, a freshman at iggi, and it was alot of fun! Besides from talking French all the time, eating good fun, and buying french stuff, we went to galaries lafayette, musee rodin, musee d'orsay, the Eiffel tower, all these other places i can't name, and climbed the Arc De Triomphe! France was alot of fun also because every day we did a whole bunch of stuff, watch a couple of episodes of 24, type my log, then go to bed at like 2*
THis i guess can go under my editorials section, although it's more about my life than that.
whatever, im sorry to all of u because my login connection to my site has been screwed up, so i couldn't get on in a while. But now im good to go and will be on regularly again.

Inner City Solution II
Mood:  irritated
Topic: City Problems/Solutions
A second thought I queried is that because many of the homes belonging to the homeless are being sold to people with more money and a better offer, I think it is imperative for the government to take better action. Instead of simply kicking those in need out for the construction of strip malls and theatres, why not expand the depth of buildings to be able to acquire more people? So there would be less homes for the homeless, yet they would not be crowded or herded into smaller buildings? Why not temporarily increase the funding of monies going to the inner city problem to build the buildings higher, but of better materiel so as to not be easily beaten? Its just a thought.

Inner City Solution
Mood:  irritated
Topic: City Problems/Solutions
About a week or two ago I was talking with my father and thinking about solutions to homelessness and poverty within Chicago for a speech I was presenting at school. Due to the deficit of the country however, and our situation overseas,I understand that problems at the homeland are not first priority for our failure-of-a-president Bush. But, the solution that we came up with resolved in a very beneficial and conservative idea. THe reason why people often times do not give money to the poor is because they are afraid it will be used for the wrong purpose. Instead of money though, a thought would be to simply have the government distribute small business cards to Americans throught the mail and they would have a certain varying value. People then, when asked for money would give the person a card, which will only be redeamable for food or a supply at participating sponsors (for instance Dukin Donuts, McDonalds, Walgreens, Walmart, etc, etc). THis i can assure you would lower the amount of people having the resources to drugs, because much of the money is usually due to beggars asking for it from innocent bystanders.
