The Schooner
Hailey & Matthew
The Hailey & Matthew is a 125 foot
sailing vessel designed by Tom
MacNaughton and built in her home port
of Eastport, Maine by her owners Capt.
Butch Harris and John Bishop. She was
specially designed to offer comfortable
luxury accommodations while
maintaining a traditional style of a
downeast fishing schooner that would
have been seen frequently along the
Maine coast in the mid to late 1800's.
Each cabin has its own head (bathroom)
that includes a toilette, sink and shower
with fresh hot and cold water. Her
spacious dinning area (the saloon) is
lighted by a large skylight, designed to
comfort the most claustrophobic of
passengers.
