Multiple BISS/Gold GCH Bit O’Heaven’s Sorceress PT RN HIC “Tegan”

Tegan came to live here at Wild Wind Collies in April of 2009.  I originally got her from Michelle Tennis for breeding stock to help improve heads, and we got SO MUCH MORE.  Tegan was bred within a couple of months of arriving and produced a lovely litter of 7, 2 were finished champions by just a year of age, another finished in Dec. 2011 and 1  girl is just lacking a major of finishing.

We decided that Tegan was so lovely, showy and so sound that we would put her in the breed ring to see if there was potential of a specials career and the rest is history.  In 2010 our daughter Laura piloted Tegan to the #5 spot by Hawkins points with many, many group placements.  In 2011 Tegan has been the Number 1 smooth collie all year through the November statistics in breed and number 2 in all breed statistics.

As of November of 2011 Tegan has 4 Best In Show Specialty wins under Mrs. Carmen Leonard, Mrs. Leah Ryan, Mrs. Cindy Meyer and most recently under Mrs. Hildegard Morgan-we couldn’t be more thrilled!  She has won 7 group 1’s, 13 group 2’s, 13 Group 3’s and 7 Group 4’s.

In 2010 Tegan won BOV at the world class dog show- Eukanuba Cup Invitational and BOS at the Westminster Kennel Club Show in 2011.

Tegan was the 1st Silver GCH Smooth Collie, and the 2nd Gold GCH Smooth Collie in AKC History.

Always handled by our wonderful Daughter Laura who has committed her life the past couple of years to campaigning Tegan, Laura is always assisted by our beloved Jessica LaFrenier.

We cannot thank Michelle and Tom Tennis enough for allowing this stunning, wonderful dog come into our lives.  Tegan will live on through history!

Tegan will be shown only sparingly in 2012, we have some exciting litter plans for her next year!  We will also be working on doing some performance work with her-she’ll be home long enough for me to polish in obedience, herding and agility-all venues she has shown great promise in!

Tegan won BOV and a Group 2 at the 2011 Eukanuba National Dog Show in Orlando Florida.
