I've lived in Tiffin, Ohio since 1996. It's a smaller sized town that is fairly quiet most of the time. I have a couple of hobbies that I really enjoy. I'm sure you can guess that one of them is weather. The other thing I enjoy is birding, which both I am able to enjoy year round.
During the summer months, I enjoy watching weather. I have a weather station set up at my home where I keep records of weather events, such as:
Weather is a fascinating thing to observe, due to the fact that it is always changing. There are so many different events as well. You've got snow in winter, Storms in summer, and wind, hail, sleet, floods and everything else in between.
- Temperature
- Humidity
- Sky appearance
- Barrometric Pressure
- Dew Points and so on.
I first got interested in weather when my mom took me to see my first frontal system moving in down in Georgia where I grew up. Since then I've done alot of self studying through books, internet and other sources.
