(12/07/05) Well we've just finished week 7 of Chess Club and we're getting a pretty large group of regulars, which is awesome. We're always looking for new members, so if you know anyone who you think would like playing chess, try to convince them to come.
In the news! -- Ashely Lin is doing an article on Chess Club that should show up in one of the next issues of the Trojan Tribune, so keep an eye out for that. Erika is working on getting our picture in the yearbook.
Remember, the intraclub tournament will be starting in a just a few weeks, and your overall rank will effect who your seeding. If you're looking for a way to sharpen up your game, Mrs. Tix just got the book "Bobby Fischer Teaches Chess" so ask her to check that out.
