VOTE FOR SARAH HINKEBEIN!!!

SARAH HINKEBEIN (student councilus candidatus): An amicable creature who inhabits the campus of St. Louis College of Pharmacy, Sarah Hinkebein is a first year student who has recently decided to throw her hat into the upcoming Student Council elections. Running for the treasurer position, this political fireball is, by all accounts, a dream come true for the StLCoP Class of 2012.

Hinkebein loves her some Cardinal baseball!!!

BIOGRAPHY: In a world plagued by fear, violence, and hatred, this beacon of hope, christened Sarah Anne Hinkebein, ignited on January 25, 1988. Her native town of Jackson, Missouri – nay, the world – would never be the same. At first, no one suspected anything was unusual about this baby. As the years passed, however, it became increasingly obvious to her parents that little Sarah was a special individual. “She picked up on everything so quickly,” recalls Mrs. Hinkebein. Indeed, this child prodigy had learned to read, write, AND figure skate all before starting kindergarten. Few people know that Sarah was on track to launch her professional figure skating career during the 1996 Olympics. Her passion for pharmacy, unfortunately, ended her skating career before it started. Completing her first 8 years of education and accumulating friends faster than the newest lottery jackpot winner, Sarah proceeded to Jackson Senior High where she prepared for a future occupation in pharmacy and cultivated her natural leadership abilities. As a 3-year FBLA officer, FBLA vice president, NHS vice president, and captain of the tennis team, Sarah used her confidence and sparkling personality to lead her teams to victory time and time again. She is currently actively involved in both SPA and SAA at StLCoP.

She's a winner!!!

DID YOU KNOW?

Sarah:

- Is left handed.

- Enjoys Cardinal baseball, tennis, playing piano, piña coladas, and getting caught in the rain.

- Is renowned in many circles as a hero for her ability to think and react quickly, often saving lives. For example, this real-life account by a first year student and indebted friend of Sarah Hinkebein (who wishes to remain anonymous):

“It was a cloudy day in March when some friends and I decided to go looking for an apartment for next year. An individual in this group had a car parked in the Argyle parking garage, so we had to walk down Euclid, get the car, then drive to some apartment complex for a meeting. Included in this group was Sarah Hinkebein. We left campus and approached the crosswalk at Forest Park Parkway as the white walking man on the sign changed to the flashing orange hand. Members walking at the front of our party briskly stepped off the sidewalk and began crossing the street. Sarah and I continued strolling along; for whatever reason, we always stroll and end up getting left behind. At the crosswalk, Sarah stops. I, unaware of her stopping, casually step off the sidewalk and continue crossing the death-trap known as Forest Park Parkway. I look up just as the flashing orange hand becomes still. The traffic light turns green and the impatient cars begin to accelerate. Paralyzed by fear, I see the cars approaching, but my body fails to react. Just before impact, Sarah, completely disregarding her own safety, grabs me and drags me the rest of the way across the street. She saved my life, man… DON'T STINK! VOTE FOR HINK!!!”
