By Donna Johnson-Little How do you find a little bit of heaven? The Lille Grynborg Bed & Breakfast on the outskirts of Odense, Denmark is full of possibilities and it will enchant you. It is a sanctuary of peace and relaxation, and the countryside looks like it could easily have been plucked out of the landscape of a Thomas Kinkade painting. Lille Grynborg is a former stable, that has been converted into nine pristine modern “holiday rooms” each with its own bathroom and television and also has handicapped facilities. Behind the bed & breakfast is a lake brimming with trout, a small white arched bridge, and a tea pavilion where you can enjoy your breakfast or afternoon tea, while overlooking the lake and a unique stone art sculpture. All around the bed and breakfast there were tulips blooming of various colors, as well as many clay pots on the patio, with lots of other exquisite flowering plants. Behind Lille Grynborg was a shaggy Shetland pony in the field, as well as a dark, thick forest of pine trees, which smelled amazing, which all lends to the absolute charm of this out of the way inn.
