PRIVATE GUIDED TOURS OF ATHENS          AND SURROUNDINGS

Private Tours of Athens with a Personal Touch.

Experience Athens in a more personal way with your own private tour guide.

Enjoy the best of the great City on private tours of Athens, Piraeus and the             countryside with me as your personal guide on tours designed to your wishes.

A tour of Athens with a licensed tour guide does make the difference and the fact is that only licensed tour guides are allowed to guide inside archaeological sites and museums.

Greek licensed guides are required to attend guiding colleges for three years and they have been subjected to the scrutiny of a great number of exams before their graduation so they can be certified by the Greek State to perform tour guiding services.

Our tour guide license is an assurance of quality. It tells you that we know what we're talking about.

Are you curious to learn about the history and culture of Athens, to visit the top tourist attractions, to experience first-hand art treasures of Athens and architectural masterpieces and even some of out-of-the-way places and hidden corners that make the city unique?

As your personal tour guide in Athens I am at your service for private tours of the city, the port of Piraeus and the Greek countryside, including excursions to ancient Corinth, Mycenae, Epidaurus, Delphi and other unique and exciting places.

Whether you have just one day to tour Athens, or would like to spread your Athens sightseeing over several days, the guided tours can be personalized to your wishes.

All my guided tours of Athens are private tours, exclusively for your small group of family, friends, partners, colleagues.

My name is George Grigoriou, I was born and raised in Athens, Greece and I have worked  as a tour guide for twenty years.

I feel extremely fortunate to be a tour guide in Athens and to be able to introduce visitors, first-timers and returnees, to the incomparable beauty and treasures of the world's most historic city.

As we visit together Athens top tourist attractions or the little neighborhoods and byways of Athens's historic center on guided tours made to measure, I hope I will be able to transmit not just my knowledge, but also my passion and enthusiasm for this great city to you.

I live and work in the heart of Athens historic center. I reply to you from one of Athens oldest and most characteristic neighborhoods, not from another part of Greece or another part of the world. I answer your requests personally and conduct all guided tours of Athens personally, to assure you have the best possible experience of Athens and its treasures.

I do not operate an Athens tour agency service and I look forward to provide you with an exceptional and unique experience on your visit to my country.
