In 2001,while facilitating poetry workshop with her performance partner from "In The Company of Poets," at a Philadelphia transistional home for women and children, Pat met some of the young girls residing at the home and knew right away she wanted to do something for them. Thinking to herself,"Wouldn't it be wonderful if every girl had the opportunity to receive an empowering message about herself and her future? Doesn't every girl, regardless of her circumstances, deserve this as a birthright? Already knowing the answer, TOMORROW'S GIRLS, a summer enrichment program for 8-13 year old girls was born.

The eight weekly sessions features life skills activities, cultural events, educational support services, creative outlets, and self-discovery opportunities that help the girls to become more well-rounded individuals. Tomorrow's Girls gatherings include poetry writing, fashion design, personal grooming, as well as serves as a positive social experience for mothers or guardians with their daughters.

Tomorrow's Girls has grown with the additional support of the Pan African Studies Community Education Program at Temple University. The performing arts aspect of the program led to Pat's staging and direction of a musical production called
"ONE LITTLE GIRL CAN CHANGE THE WORLD! featuring the Tomorrow's Girls participants.

Pat's dedication is unwaivering, because in her words "This program is dedicated to the most important people in our world, our young people. I/we cannot afford not to do it."
